From here views to the east of the Rhinogs: the huge chisel-head Rhinog Fach.  To the south and west are
Barmouth and Tremadog Bay, the latter protected by the  
arm of the Lleyn Peninsula. To the north the Vale of
Ffestiniog and beyond Snowdonia.
Foel Senigl Hillfort
The tallest standing stone in the Moel Goedog complex. The area between Talsarnau and Trawsfynydd is one of the best-preserved Bronze Age landscapes in the British Isles.

Llyn Gwynant lies on the River Glaslyn, in the Nant Gwynant  valley between Beddgelert and Pen y Gwryd. Snowdon rises 3 km to the north west. The lake is natural, having been formed by glacial action.

Y Gyrn from the lower lake of Tecwyn. Y Gyrn Ring Cairn is a Bronze Age monument situated under the black cliffs of Y Gyrn overlooking Portmeirion and the estuary of Afon Dwyryd. It is close to the footpath from Caerwych Farm to Bryn Cader Faner

Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) is the highest mountain in Wales and is Great Britain's highest mountain. This view is of Snowdon from the south, highlighting the contrasts of light and land. Yr Wyddfa means burial place.

Llandaff Cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Llandaff. It is dedicated to Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and also to three Welsh saints: Dyfrig, Teilo and Euddogwy.

Moel Goedog
The hillside track approaching Llyn Tecwyn Uchaf, a 20th century reservoir. Llandecwyn is in the hills above the River Dwyryd and Penrhyndeudraeth. It has views over the valley and across Tremadog Bay.

Llandecwyn church stands high in the hills above the the River Dwyryd and Penrhyndeudraeth.  Dedicated to St Tecwyn parts of the church are medieval and in the 19th century was a Wesleyan chapel serving the local community.

Italianate village built by the architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis. Portmeirion is halfway between Porthmadog and Penrhyndeudraeth. It became famous as the set for the television series The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan, who was Number 6

Blaenau Ffestiniog was once the capital of the slate quarrying industry. The narrow gauge Ffestiniog Railway links Blaenau Ffestiniog with Porthmadog on the coast.
