Landscape Photographer Angela Muzzlewhite has a keen eye for composition and the unusual, enabling her to produce photographs of the countryside in its many guises, using both film and digital. The key to the success of Angela’s landscape photography lies in the simple approach to her work. No images are subjected to alteration or computer manipulation. “The magic of our countryside requires only to be left alone and enjoyed, whatever the weather!” she says.
Together with a West Country Soloist, Angela illustrated a programme of music and pictures entitled Images of Song which was performed to audiences in Exeter, her home City. The success of this event remains a talking point.
In 2005 Angela’s work was exhibited in a joint Exhibition with Ray Balkwill, the acclaimed West Country Artist.
In 2006 she was invited by the BBC to participate in their ‘Springwatch’ event at Bicton College.
2007 was a busy year for Angela:
- Photography featured by The National Trust.
- Shortlisted by The Times for Landscape Photographer of the Year 2007.
- Exhibited in an Autumn Exhibition "Devon & Beyond" with Ray Balkwill.
Tutorials are being undertaken in 2008, together with further exhibition work.
Everyone should have a picture of their favourite countryside on their wall.
